Welcome!!
Featherby is set in the busy suburb of Gillingham, north of the A2 between Gillingham and Rainham. We are very proud of our school that consists of twelve classrooms, hall, library, playgrounds, an adventure trail and large field. We are acutely aware of the increasing role that ICT plays in modern life and provide our children with the skills to be successful through our ICT suite which contains 32 desktop computers and a bank of laptops which can be used anywhere within our wireless networked school.
We are a Community School and have close links with Twydall Holy Trinity Church. The school operates through a strong set of values that form the bedrock of our ethos as we strive to develop successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.
We currently have 342 children on roll organized into twelve classes. We are in the process of developing our curriculum to make learning irresistible for our children. It is recognized that the parents and carers are the primary educators of any child and we work hard to develop strong home school links and provide support where it is requested.
